Xavier Leadership Center provides Leadership Institute for Catholic Press Association

Xavier Leadership Center has been selected to facilitate a “leadership institute” as a part of the annual Catholic Press Association conference from June 22-24, 2011 in Pittsburgh.  Attending will be publishers and other leaders from Catholic publications from around the United States.

According to Len Brzozowski, XLC’s executive director, “Catholic publishing is facing many challenges caused by economic pressures and dramatic shifts in technology, reader behaviors and shifting demographic patterns.”  During the Leadership Institute, participants will be led through a complete strategic thinking and planning process that they can take back to their home organizations as they try to grapple with how they re-think their business models in response to the changing environment.   They will also be introduced to “killer innovation” concepts pioneered by Hewlett Packard’s Phil McKinney.  The program is called ‘Leading Innovative Change in a Dynamic World’”.
