Teams
“The ratio of ‘We’s’ to ‘I’s’ is the best indicator of the development of a team”. ~ Lewis B. Ergen
All of us have strengths, and weaknesses. Our skills and knowledge are robust – but not all-encompassing. Our weaknesses will often hold us back from achieving desired goals and objectives in life and in business. Winning leaders learn sooner, rather than later, that by surrounding ourselves with people who complement us we become that much more effective. ‘All of us’ is generally far better than ‘one of us’.
Learning how to assemble and develop teams, harnessing divergent skills and thoughts is a survival skill. This is the key to problem solving, achieving alignment, and making better quality decisions.
The Xavier Leadership Center offers a variety of programs and services to help you learn how to lead teams, and how to work more effectively in one.
