Process Excellence
“Continuous improvement is not about the things you do well – that’s work. Continuous improvement is about removing the things that get in the way of your work. The headaches, the things that slow you down . . . that’s what continuous improvement is all about.” ~ Bruce Hamilton
Most of our work involves a set of steps, strung together to achieve a specific goal or result. This is a process. It doesn’t matter whether you are making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, developing new products, processing invoices, diagnosing patients, or building widgets. . . there are a variety of tools available to help us measure the effectiveness of our work so that we can make it better.
The quest for Process Excellence is a top priority for many industries. Xavier Leadership Center teaches the tools to help you collect and analyze data to understand how to improve and streamline processes in order to make them more repeatable and robust.
We offer coursework in Lean thinking and leadership. We also offer coursework in Six Sigma, a highly-disciplined process developed by Motorola and popularized by GE that results in extremely high standards of quality control for products produced in large volume. To achieve Six Sigma quality, a process must produce no more than 3.4 defects per million.
The mark of true leadership is high standards – and the Xavier Leadership Center is here to help you set and achieve them. Through an understanding of Process Excellence, you will be able to create a model that will produce the best results for maximum impact and greatly multiplied profit. Just as assembly lines revolutionized production, the Xavier Leadership Center is committed to revolutionizing business knowledge – by changing the DNA of your organization with new and vital information.
